Breaking Taboos: Changing the Mentality

We must have often heard our mohalla aunties talking like, "Did you see what Mrs. Sharma's daughter was wearing the other day? Such a short dress I tell you, Shilpaji..." And there goes the saying our parents mostly retort, "What would people talk about us?" (Better sounded in Hindi.) 
The present generation is much more advanced and clever. They mostly know what they are up to and what would be the consequences of a particular action by them would cause it to happen. The point is, these kinds of talks and always thinking about what other people would think generally suffocates the talent and creativity.

This concept of society judging girls and boys according to their own perception mostly kills the right of freedom in the youth. If the youngsters are not given enough space to stretch their wings of talent and fly, then the society might be stopping some one to chase their dreams.    More elaborated article to come in next issue!
