The Sovereignty of Faith

India is an out and out religious country where the common folk would go to any extent to please their Gods or be their favorite ones. The truly devoted sometimes do not even care about themselves in an effort to try to save their Lord’s name.

Recently, during a ‘Jagrata’ that happened in Sector-28 Chandigarh witnessed something like that. The stage was set and the podium was ready for the Nooran sisters to perform. All of a sudden, the weather went bad and a gusto of wind spoiled the ‘Pandaal’ and the setting fell on the attendees. Thankfully, no one was hurt and the ‘Jaagran’ commenced again within thirty minutes but the thing that stood out was the faith of the people. Each and every one tried to save the ‘Akhand Jyoti’ that is never supposed to be blown out ever during such events.
