As with the growing trend of Craft Beers in the tricity, another one adds to the list by the name of Boathouse. Situated in the strategic location of The Elante mall, the cafe caters to the demands of every group of the society as put forward by the young 21 year old entrepreneur, Shubham Sharma.

Along with his parents, Seema and Sandeep Sharma, Shubham decided to open up a different conceptual Craft Beer brewery and restaurant inspired by the German brewhouses. In his words, "We were planning on opening up a restaurant that would target mass audience. And as with the growing interest towards breweries nowadays, we decided upon Boathouse, the first amongst the largest breweries in the tricity. We have a varied seating panels that are different yet complementing to the concept."

The family claims that they are not the regular beer drinkers but have an in-depth knowledge about the perfect beer brew. The concept targets the ambience as available in the seaside beer houses in the European culture and want to give the tricity people a feel that they are having their favorite brews along seaside.

The interiors and quotes give the aura of beer in boats. The beers are available in seven flavors with three ever changing flavors accordingly. A unique taste is available in their cuisines toi that effectively compliment their home brewed beers. Also, they aim at expanding the Craft Beer flavors plus thinking of hosting some beer festivals in the European style in near future.
