Bollywood's latest flick written and directed by Lom Harsh, 'Yeh HaiIndia' is set to be released on 4th August is the reality displayed on big screen that what India is in today's time. The film is ready to showcase the mentality that the foreign countries still have about India. It is set to break the stereotypes as the name suggests as claimed by the jubilant director, Lom Harsh who himself has the Australian citizenship.

The fact that the actors are also themselves NRI brings the reality in the movie. Main lead, Gavie Chahal, himself got to know many interesting things while doing the shoot, "There are so many cultures around the country that I did not know about earlier but during the shoot we had to travel to more than 100 locations that helped me understand the real India."

Himself being a mechanical engineer, Gavie talked about how youngsters can be the pillar of the nation, "There are so many youngsters who are getting into engineering colleges or others common streams, however, they do face the shortage of jobs due to minimal college placements."

Would the youngsters who are going abroad thinking of a better opportunity would respect Indian land after watching, Yeh Hai India? Gavie says, "Exactly, we have covered too many issues in the movie that concern India. Through this commercial cinema, we have put forward an effort to disclose what's wrong with today's perception of India and how we can put the things on the right track. In the film, there's a scene where my character is put into a dilemma into choosing his girlfriend from abroad or India, so we have tried to put forward a realistic change. Maybe, the youngsters would consider a India being a better opportunity once they take the initiative to change the things in India themselves."

So what's wrong with today's India? To this Chahal says, "Once every one stands up for the betterment of the country, then the stereotypes would be broken. We have to understand that it is our duty towards to country to set all things right. Why do foreigners have such negative views about India is only because these things exist. No doubt, we are developing but every one is blaming the government for every wrong happening. I am not supporting any political party, but we have to understand that managing such a large population is quite hard. We all should be responsible for our deeds and acts towards the country. Alone, the government cannot do anything unless we take the initiative."

Personally, Gavie does not like a thing in India and that is our mannerisms towards keeping our country clean, "I don't like that when we throw everything on the roads without even thinking twice. Whether you are eating something or having something to drink, the wrappers or bottles are thrown away on the roads or in parks instead of dustbins. For this, government should also allot dustbins."

So, it is a two way road as Gavie Chahal claims. For a better India, the government and the people should work hard towards their duty. The film's trailer looks promising and was launched by Gen. V.K Singh himself in Delhi and it has been sent over to Cannes Film Festival.
