On the occasion, the politician from Punjab, praised the efforts of the photojournalists to do something unique. He met each and every photojournalist and had a glimpse of all the forty pictures at display for the cause.
"Capt. Amrinder Singh's government is working on the lines of empowering woman. As I say, a woman is the first amongst equals. For this initiative by the photojournalists, I would like to say Bravo! This is praiseworthy", Sidhu told the media.
On being asked about his relationship with his own daughter Navjot Singh Sidhu said lovingly, "My relationship with my daughter is just like me being a genie. I complete each and every wish of hers. Even though, my son does mind that why I give so much preference to her but that is the way at my home. It is a rule at my place that my daughter should not get tears in her eyes and if she gets so, the cause behind it would be immediately replenished."
Also, before leaving the premises Navjot Singh Sidhu gave the grant of Rs.3 lakh to the PJWA to continue such social work. The exhibition would end on Monday with a seminar to educate about the girl child and the importance of their education.
