"I became a writer because of Facebook" is what this young man says. How? "I had a passion for writing poetry and used to post a few of my self-made verses on Facebook. Then my friends started appreciating my work and asked me to write a book on it." Jagjit Singh was in Chandigarh to launch his book 'Sach Da Ark' published by Culture Kingdom along with Charan Likhari, Gavy Sidhu, Arman Sangha and Chetan Brar in Chandigarh Press Club, Sector-27. The path to become a mainstream writer was quite challenging for this youngster. "I was facing a lot of struggles when I was getting refused to by a lot of publishers. I had to wait a lot till Culture Kingdom landed me the opportunity and made my dream come true. Today, I feel proud to share the dais with writers like Charan Likhari and Gavy Sidhu just because of Culture Kingdom who offered me the wings to my dreams." 'Sach Da Ark' means reality of truth. So, why such a name? "I used to post my verses online on Facebook under this very name. So, from there I thought the name for the book as well. I did a full fledged research if there has been any other book with the same name or not. Seems like there wasn't and 'Sach Da Ark' is now presented to you by Culture Kingdom and me." The book's verses have been published in Punjabi. "I am just waiting for the response of the readers to my book, hoping it would be positive. After that we are planning to publish it in Hindi as well. Initially, I wanted it to be published in Hindi only but destiny had something else for me I guess."
