I call Sanjay, "Sanjay"- Arjun Kapoor

During the promotions of his upcoming flick Mubarakan, Arjun Kapoor along with his co-stars Athiya Shetty and Ileana D' Cruz recently happened to be in Chandigarh to launch their song, Jatt Jaguar. The film seems to offer double the trouble as Arjun Kapoor would be seen in a double role playing his own twin brother. His first acting stint with his real life Chachu, Anil Kapoor has a lot at the disposal of the viewers.

A dialogue in the movie by Anil Kapoor refers to keep things between the youngsters. To this Arjun Kapoor explained, "Anil Kapoor is a bachelor in the film and acts as my Mam as well as my Chacha. So, his character still refers to himself as a youngster himself."

So, if Arjun Kapoor is playing the role of twins, how can Anil Kapoor be his Chacha as well as Mama? "This can only happen in an Anees Bazmee film", he laughs and then adds on, "Even though Charan and Karan (Arjun's characters) are twins, they have been raised up by different relatives. So, the relationships would be explained in the first 8 minutes of the film itself. Like, how I have been raised up in my family I call my chotte Chachu Sanjay by his name. But, what's in the name, my relationship with him is as strong as any other. Similarly, in the film, Anil Kapoor is Charan and Karan's friend, buddy, advisor and everything. But, Charan who has been raised up in Chandigarh itself thinks highly of his Chacha (Anil Kapoor), whereas Charan thinks that his Mama is not worth it. The film has a lot of twists and turns that aren't caused by anybody else but the twins itself."

Many shots of the film have been directed in The City Beautiful itself. Ileana, who plays the character of Sweety was all praises about food. "Talk to me about food and I can go on and on for it. I had the yummy paranthas with a lot of butter in it at the Karnal Haveli and it was yummy!"

The chemistry between the three of them stole the show. Mubarakan releasing on 28 July promises a laughter riot and a family bonding that is somewhat seems to be missing in the Indian families. The Anil-Arjun duo would be sharing the screen space for the first time and Athiya and Ileana would be playing the love interests of Arjun. As it is Anees' flick, there would be a lot of confusion added on with the hint of belly hugging laughter riots.
