I am lucky to be alive- says actress Ihana Dhillon

Vivacious and scintillating, Ihana Dhillon is as quirky as her name. Punjabi film Thug Life's star got into a chit chat mode with us and divulged in some behind the scenes action and drama, also let slip her about her personal ideologies.

An aspiring actress in Thug Life I am playing the character of a bubbly aspiring actress who wants to earn a big name in the industry but is always shooed away by the big fishes. Like, when she meets her co-stars for the first time in the movie, she is being dragged out by her hair from an actress' vanity van by a manager on the film sets and even if it is an embarrassing moment, she keeps her head held high and has an air of importance around her all the time. On having near to death experience on sets There's an action scene in the film where I have to ride a bike which was shot on a cliff. I would admit I am not a good bike rider but being a Punjabi I was like, 'I can do it'. So, while shooting for the scene, I along with the bike got skidded down the cliff and my whole crew was tensed that this moment Ihana ma'am is gone. For a moment even I thought that I am gonna die and thank goodness I was able to complete the film. From out of nowhere, our film's writer and director, Mukesh Vohra jumped out in the cliff to catch hold of me and got his leg fractured. I got no injuries, just a few scratches. But, I was touched by Mukesh's gesture because in today's time, no one does this. I was saved and I am lucky to be alive today. On the Compromise in the industry

Yeah, I have a dialogue in the movie where I tell my co-stars that I won't compromise as my character is of an aspiring actress. However, that was just a dialogue in the film. I myself am from the industry and haven't seen or heard about it. Personally, I think compromise or casting couch are a bit over rated in the film industry. On her persona I don't have attitude and neither have I heard any one saying this about me ever. I am a chirpy little girl who is always happy and high-spirited just like my character in Thug Life. Thug Life is in theaters since 21st July and has done a good business in three days.
