A Tricolor Band for every Hand!
'Tiranga Band in Every Hand...' is an initiative organised by the Rising India Youth Organisation that was flagged off by Smt. Meenakshi Malhotra DUI Panjab University, Emanual Nahar DSW (men), Neena Caplash DSW (women) at BMS Department, PU on 25th July 2017. In return this has become a huge movement and got overwhelming response from teaching and non-teaching staff as well as students from multiple disciplines and departments.
What is the movement about? This slogan now has become a national level social platform for citizens to realise their social responsibilities and reviving their faith on the harmonious living leaving behind the discriminations based on communities and religions. The support that it has got from eminent personalities like Subramaniam Swami Ji, Rajya Sabha member, Trivendra Singh Rawat (CM Uttrakhand), all of the Cabinet Ministers from Uttrakhand, Col. Rajyawardhan Singh (MOS Information and Broadcasting), Sambit Patra (national spokesperson) and many more judiciaries and politicians have come forward to climb up this movement. 'Tiranga Band in Every Hand...' has already reached over 7000 students and staff members so far and aims to reach the target of 10000 by the end of the movement. The concluding event for this humanitarian and patriotic movement will be held on 22nd August where Kiron Kher (MP Chandigarh) would be grace the event amongst other dignitaries.
