The Death of Journalism
Voicing an opinion in a country like India seems to be an exigent task as it might lead to death too.Media being a torchbearer as the fourth pillar of any democracy is a victim of iniquitous crimes such as murder of its torchbearers.

On Tuesday, the whole of India witnessed a gruesome act in Bangalore that shook one and all. Gauri Lankesh (in picture), a fearless and intrepid journalist was shot dead in front of her house by unknown men. Her family, friends and colleagues are claiming this as a work of anti-social elements of society against whom Gauri used to voice her opinions in her 'Gauri Lankesh Patrike'
The act was a chilling one and clearly a message to the messiahs of the society to not to speak up the truth. She the 13th journalist who has been murdered at the hands of some rationalists who do not want their deeds to be exposed.
The fourth pillar of democracy has clearly lost its respect and self-esteem with time and now when they want to raise their voice, they are targeted and butchered up that is clearly a sign of hooliganism at a height all over the country which would not want you to speak up.
