As he is forthright in his thoughts, he speaks about his way of freedom and why he resents Modi sarkar's way if governance. "I absolutely don't understand why politics take place with a poster boy and behind him the whole political party support all the wrongs in the society", Kanhaiya comments. Further he adds up to the issue of quota system, "I come from a place that has seen the reservation system at its worse. But people fail to understand that quota system exists just in the government sector jobs that consists of just 1% of our economy. The remaining 99% of employment is provided by private sector companies, so running politics on the basis of reservation system is non-viable." Also, Kanhaiya addressed the unemployment issue and furthermore added that he does not have specific political agenda and does not want to be associated with any leading political party. So what kind of freedom does Kanhaiya Kumar want? In his words, "Every one wants his/her freedom. Some want freedom from slow internet connection or dirty surroundings. I, on the other hand want the freedom from disparities, inequality in the society, caste system and freedom for the real FREEDOM to exist in our country".
