When you see scary faces painted all around and fake makeup on point, it means dear old Halloween is here! We Indians have a habit or a gift of embracing other cultures as their own. And that is why half of the population celebrating Halloween might not even know why is this festival celebrated. For them, its like Americans celebrating Karwa Chauth maybe!
The A-listers of the B-town definately make it a style statement on October 31st every year and do not forget to wear their creepy costumes that are way worse than the idea of celebrating this festival in India. The original ideas and concept of the festival looks great on American soil and not upon the Indian contingent. It is just a way to earn up money through weird businesses like it happens on Valentines Day. Being westernised doesn't mean to commemorate their festivals but to adopt their mentality and open mindedness that wouldn't make their festivals look like a mock-up over here.
