Heavy rain and snow have remained absent over the hills of North India since December 12. These conditions make these two main Himalayan regions as the perfect wintery abode for tourists in the holiday
season.
In the last two days, there has been recorded drop in temperatures in these regions and more is expected till December 31st. Tourist destinations of Narkanda, Sangla, Solang and some other places had their first snowfall of the season while sprawling Dhauladhar ranges in Kangra, Churdhar ranges in Sirmaur, Rohtang, Saach, Chansel and Kunzam passes had intermittent heavy snowfall since 10th of this month.
The sprawling beauty of Manali has also already experienced first snowfall of the season whhich makes it the perfect getaway of the season to bring in New Year vibes with the extravagent atmosphere that nature is offering in this season.
