A Game For Lawyers started from Saturday
Second edition of Chief Justice VK Bali (Retd) Lawyers Premier League, T20 cricket tournament kicked off from 14th October, Saturday with daily two matches in a row amongst eight as- piring teams of advocates and lawyers.
"The Lawyers League will have full sup- port of the members of Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Cricket Associ- ation", said Sr Advocate Puneet Bali .
Matches will be played at Sector 16 stadium and Tau Devi Lal Stadium Sector 3 Panchkula on Saturdays and Sundays after opening ceremony on 14th October at 8.30 am at Cricket Stadium Chandigarh Sector 16.
Innaugration happened on Saturday with the Chief Guest being Hon'ble Mr Justice AK Mittal. On the occassion, the winners trophy will be unveiled by Hon'ble Mr Justice SS Saron (Retd).
This tournament also serves as an initia- tive to involve Sr. Advocates who are par- ticipating as mentors so that there is healthy interaction among members of High Court & District Bar Association.
