The singer has no complaints with today's music but strongly feels the use of abusive language and ammunition should not be a part of any music. In his words, "I absolutely am not in favor of arms and abuses being used in today's Punjabi music and do not support it. Their music is just made to cater one kind of audience, like my music is made for multiple audience reflecting Punjabi culture."
Maybe, that's why he is not seen singing in Bollywood too. To this Singh replies, "Someone actually asked me once that why do I not sing in Bollywood. I have done a song with Hollywood productions but I don't want to be a part of their songs. their lyrics are so absurd, just look at 'Pappu cant dance saala' and more."
