India now is on the road to recognise Basketball- says first Indian NBA regime player

Satnam Singh Bhamara, 22 year old Indian decent first NBA League player has a lot to say about basketball, his coaches, native country's basketball infrastructure and a lot more. Coming forward in New Public School, Chandigarh to teach the students a game or two of Basketball, he enjoyed the time spent.

The kids went all barmy when this 7ft 2in man stood in the center of the court to address the students. In his words, "I was quite enthusiastic to meet the students who are already playing the game. I just told them to be enthusiastic towards the game, have a good diet, study hard too and listen to your parents and coaches."

The students were also thrilled to see him amongst them. They demanded him to show them his famous Slam Dunk style but he quirkily replied, "When I can basket just by standing, why should I dunk?" and instantly dropped a basket with one hand. Avoiding all controversies and eccentric questions, he sticked to the point that Indian sports is taking Basketball seriously. "Indian Basketball infrastructure is improving since I started my training and NBA is also supporting young enthusiasts and kids to take up this as a serious sport where the authorities are helpful and aid us professionally and financially", what Satnam Singh told the media.
